For almost 15 years, School of Democratic Leadership in Montenegro connects politicians, public servants, journalists, NGOs and trade union activists and representatives of religious communities through educational programs, focusing on practical skills, important for their work in Montenegrin society.
From the very beginning, SDL acts within the European network of Schools of Political Studies, under the auspices of the Council of Europe. Aiming to further harmonization with the network, introduction of the new quality and accent on pan-European character – we have decided on changing the name and adapting it to the goal and mission, and the name of the network whose member we are. In accordance to it, we decided on the name of the platform – School of Political Studies.

Staff and the Academic Council of the School, program and the work methodology will stay the same.

Therefore, this year and 2019, we will devote to work with alumni focusing on obligations from the negotiating chapters 23 and 24, in order to use the network for improvement of the status of Montenegro in the future processes and in order to empower a public dialogue.
