Opening ceremony and introductory panel for the new – XVI generation of School of Democratic Leadership will take place on Monday, 12 February 2018 in the EU Info Center in Podgorica.

This year’s program or XVI generation of SDL will open: H.E. Margaret Ann Uyehara, Ambassador of USA in Montenegro, Mladen Chervenyakov, Ambassador of Bulgary and H.E. Arne Sanes Bjørnstad, Ambassador of Norway. After the opening ceremony Ms Gordana ĐuroviĆ, Professor at the Faculty of Economy and the President of the Pan-European Union will hold the introductory lecture on topic “Current position of Montenegro in the EU integration process”. After this lecture, Mr Branislav Radulović, a member of Senate of the State Audit Institution, Ms Marijana Lakovic Drašković, Director General of Directorate for Judiciary and the Chief of Negotiating Team for the Chapter 23 and Jelena Đaletić, Prosecutor of the High State Prosecution Office will be speakers at the panel “The role of national institutions in the process of establishment of the rule of law in Montenegro”.

SDL alumni, representatives of international organizations and embassies in Montenegro will attend the ceremony.
